The Second Chronicle Gospel Singers

 
 Our Vision:

 The Second Chronicle Gospel Choir, founded in October, 1999 with nine original members drawn from different organizations. The group started its ministry singing liturgical and gospel songs every Sunday evening masses at the Our Lady of Sorrows Parish. As time goes by, the group grew in number and sang during mass services, weddings, birthdays, dedications, necrological services and other singing invitations from other parishes, hotels, corporate and government offices, among others. The group is also active in Simbang Gabi masses in December where it served in coordination with the parish office.
 
  In its aim for performance enhancement, the group hosts mini concerts and joins competitions and invitational concerts in other parishes. The group's first thanksgiving concert was on December 10, 2005 held at the Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, together with other choirs of the OLS music ministry, a concert for a cause for the reconstruction of the Parochial office which was toppled down by fire. Mini concerts were also held once every year, whenever possible for the listening parishioners for free entertainment.
 
 March 31, 2007, the choir competed and won second prize in the Chorale category during the Music Fest Season 2 sponsored by the Gospel Music Phils. Inc. and Audiophile held at the Jaime Cardinal Sin Auditorium, Paco Manila.
 
 The choir also won in the elimination round (second placer in the Grand Finals) at the "Choro at the Metro" Christmas Carol Competition at Metropoint Mall, Taft Ave. Pasay City, in December 4, 2007 sponsored by Picture City and Talents Manila Phils. They also sang for Talents Manila Phils. in its Christmas Fair at the Paseo de Sta. Rosa in Laguna in December 2007.
 
 The group joined Gloria Patri Singers' "WIR FEIERN" Chorale Fest last June 7, 2008 at the Holy Trinity Parish Church, Sampaloc, Manila.
 
 The group’s first major concert last October 25, 2008 entitled, “Psallo Forem” anniversary and thanksgiving concert for church reconstruction was held at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in Pasay City
